This program aims to satisfying Osteoporosis patients needs, depending on the degree and severity of the case. The program’s success will depend on the perseverance of the patient and how much support is received from the family. The most important goal is to enhance the quality of life and to bring the patient to be as independent as possible, and be able to carry on with life’s daily tasks. This will affect patient’s physical, psychological, and social aspects of his/her life. In this program we will also focus on pain reduction (if any). We will also introduce the patient to techniques to prevent falling, hence avoid fractures and reduce the progress of Osteoporosis. Program Includes: Treatment Exercises: these exercises will stretch, and strengthen the muscles. These will also increase muscle coordination which will lead to better weight bearing on bones. Our Center (ICPMR) is equipped with Vertical Vibration equipment that has shown excellent results in Osteoporosis cases. Pain Reduction Techniques Nutritious Consultations to increase the Calcium, Vitamin D intake, and reducing caffeine intake. Using supportive devices at home to increase safety Patient & family awareness for fall & fracture cases. Medications if needed.
